When filing a Charge with the EEOC, it is important to properly allege each and every claim/act of discrimination. If you do not properly allege each act and claim of discrimination in your Charge, you may be prevented from asserting that claim in Court. Not alleging the proper claims in an EEOC Charge, which is trickier than you may believe, may result in a lapse of the statute of limitations – meaning your case might over. Barring that as a possibility, if you fail to properly assert and articulate a claim, the EEOC investigator cannot properly investigate (meaning requesting some documents most likely at the most) your case or your case can be dismissed prematurely.
